I come from a candle-obsessed family. A candle is always a reliable gifting option for my personal beauty icons – my mom and my sister. When I saw Blush Erotica collaborating with The Kinky Candle Company, I was intrigued, yet thrilled to receive a sample of the new release. I’ve been burning it in my room for the last couple of weeks as I prepare for my move to New York City, and am excited to share my thoughts on the launch.
Blush Erotica joined forces with The Kinky Candle Company, a brand known on Etsy for its sex-positive products and commitment to a unique candle experience. Stacy Lyle, owner of Blush Erotica, was aiming to create a beachy scent that is sweetly inviting. With notes of ocean rose, white currant, strawberry and guava, I was truly excited to test it out!
While a 1.8 ounce sample size, it’s packaged in a cute rose gold tin with a fitting kiss mark design on top. The coconut/soy wax blend lasted throughout the day, and filled my room with a light and pleasant scent. For reference, my favorite scent of all time is Bath & Body Works Champagne Toast – a fruity and addicting smell. I’m happy to share that it could be a sister product to the viral scent, yet can be distinguished on its own.
Overall, this candle is extremely easy to enjoy, and is one I certainly would refill once it burns out! I highly recommend it for those who love notes of citrus, cream, and sugar. Not to worry, it certainly isn’t too sweet, either, and satisfied my mom and sister, two candle experts.
