Sujuane Smith is encompassing two different feels in her one distinct brand called Street and Sheek. Smith says it represents both sides of her. “A lot of myself is in what I create or design,” she says.
Smith never wanted to dive into fashion in the first place. She wanted to be a ballerina, then a firefighter, then a rapper. “When I was young, though, I noticed if my outfits were not perfect, and it threw my entire day off. So I had that fashion sense in me at an early age,” says the designer.
StreetandSheek.comSmith also mentioned she was a bit of tomboy. “During college, I worked for a premier cosmetic company. When I started working there, I stepped up my game after noticing how the other women dressed,” she says.
