Visit Japan From the Comfort of Home With Sakuraco

Visit Japan from the

I’m a huge fan of Japanese culture, from the beautiful language, to the striking art, delectable food, and fascinating customs. It’s a goal of mine to visit Japan one day. In the meantime, I enjoy immersing myself in the Japanese culture that is right here in New York City.

So when I learned about Sakuraco, a company that lets you visit Japan from the comfort of home, I knew they were right up my alley. Subscribers receive boxes of authentic snacks, tea, and sweets at their door every month! And the coolest part is that every Sakuraco box is packed by hand and shipped from Japan. Needless to say, I had to try them for myself.

I am not exaggerating when I say I was enchanted to receive Sakuraco’s exclusive summer box, packaged with such care and delivered to my building for my convenience. It was the best surprise to come home to after a busy work day.

Inside the box was a detailed guide to Japanese culture and the cutest dish towel I have ever seen, covered in cats. Is this towel currently hanging in my kitchen? Obviously.

There was also tea, and various snacks and treats, including many I had never tried before. Notably, the treats in the box that were the most foreign to me were the ones I enjoyed the most.
