Your Wrinkles Deserve to Relax: BeautyStat’s Peptide Wrinkle Relaxing Moisturizer

Fine lines and wrinkles are inevitable. But, now more than ever, so many skincare products are formulated to fight, prevent, and reduce them. My current favorite is the Peptide Wrinkle Relaxing Moisturizer by BeautyStat. Founded by Ron Robinson, a cosmetic chemist with over 30 years of experience, BeautyStat came from his passion for creating innovative and effective products that address the needs of every skin type and concern. BeautyStat made its debut in 2019 with its Universal C Skin Refiner, a 20% vitamin C serum that features a patented encapsulated system that stabilizes the purest form of vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) and prevents it from losing its potency and effectiveness. The formula has satisfied customers and gained respect from experts, who praise its ability to brighten, firm, smooth, and protect the skin from environmental damage.

Since then, BeautyStat has expanded its Universal C line with more products that utilize the power of vitamin C. I personally use the Universal C Eye Perfector every day, which color corrects dark circles with vitamin C, CBD, caffeine, and hyaluronic acid.

I also love the Universal Microbiome Barrier Balancing Cleanser, a silky cleanser that works to wash away purities without stripping the skin’s barrier. Their newest launch, The Peptide Wrinkle Relaxing Moisturizer, is formulated to be anti-aging, as it uses neuropeptides, glucosamine, and hyaluronic acid to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin elasticity. Peptides are super popular in skincare, as they improve texture, reduce inflammation, and much more! This moisturizer has three peptides in its ingredient list, so it is a great anti-aging product to use in the AM or PM. Its power ingredient, though, is polyglutamic acid, a humectant that adds four times the amount of hydration than hyaluronic acid.

When I tried it, I found the texture to be different from other moisturizers. It was light and fluffy – like icing – and absorbed into my skin right away. With my oily skin, I appreciated it not feeling heavy on the skin while maintaining hydration and moisture. It would pair greatly with a hydrating toner or serum underneath to maximize effectiveness. Another highlight is the packaging, which is sleek, colorful, and airtight. All of BeautyStat’s products are cruelty-free, vegan, fragrance-free, and clinically tested. Their brand celebrates the beauty of diversity, inclusivity, and empowerment. You can find their products on their website or at Ulta Beauty. I suggest following them on TikTok @BeautyStat – I’m entertained and educated every day!
