Hybrid fashion production house and fashion show producer Runway 7 showcased a collection of emerging and established designers to present their latest and greatest for Fall/Winter 2023 fashion. Their shows run in parallel to New York Fashion Week and with big names like Naeem Khan, Stephen Goudeau, Barbara Hulaniki and Susanne Bartsch, you know a three day fashion event from Runway 7 is going to be good.
This past NYFW for Fall and Winter Fashion 2023, the selections were even greater than last time with a whopping 45+ designers. Runway 7 has definitely upped the game this year with the latest in teen and young adult fashion, swimwear, evening wear, menswear, bridal, street fashion, emerging designers to keep your eye on, and all with their core focus on philanthropy and giving back.
Sonia Riviera
Sonia Riviera is a Puerto Rican based fashion designer. Her latest collection showcased evening wear dresses with long pleated bottoms with lined bodices. Some bodices featured gemstone embellished lining. Sonia Riviera also showcased a menswear design with a graphic covered jacket.
Godesca
Fashion brand Godesca, designed by entrepreneur Elba Reynoso, showed the audience a selection of evening wear for their latest collection. The showcase featured bright satin fabrics, shimmering gowns, and an enthusiastic usage of tulle. Gowns were not afraid to take up space and garner attention from the bright lights of Sony Hall.
Lorraine Ortiz
Lorraine Ortiz is a Puerto Rican based designer and also a practicing real estate broker. The collection for Runway 7’s Fall/Winter 2023 fashion focused on bright bold colored dresses accessorized with satin gloves. Empire waists with full skirts created a youthful, feminine aesthetic for eveningwear. The collection also featured colorful mosaic patterned dresses with ruffles and a hoop skirt version.
Avar Collection
Avar Collection is a fashion brand focused on evening couture wear and glamorous dresses. Based in Miami, they also do private showings by appointment. For the upcoming fall season, their collection featured cocktail dresses, brightly colored pantsuits, and beautiful evening wear dresses. Outfits within the showcase included gemstone and lace detailing as well as strappy components and sexy cutouts.
Cin X Zaya
Cin x Zaya is an online fashion collection of gowns, evening wear, and hype pieces for a personal wardrobe. Their latest collection featured evening wear with sensuality. Sheer black materials dressed their models as well as shimmering gowns and patent leather pants.
House of Fleek
House of Fleek is a Florida based fashion brand created by designer Jelisa Smith. The brand focuses on feminine, sensual and skin-tight designs that go big and bold. Her latest collection featured bodycon dresses with ruffles, gemstone detailing, velour like material. The dresses also were in an assortment of classically feminine and sensually girlish colors of pink, lavender and champagne.
House of Fleek also has a SHEIN collection and a collection for sustainable swimwear.
Sabrina Ortega
Sabrina Ortega gave the audience a scintillating view of her latest collection that included a selection of evening wear dresses. The collection had a beautiful usage of embroidery seen on form-fitting dresses, sleeve design and veils. Fabrics mixed between delicate and sheer and shiny liquid metal looking vinyl. Across the satin, velvet and usage of gold embellishments, the looks gave a low illustrious quality like metals reflecting the light from a fire.
Ann Spoyer
Ann Spoyer is a New York based fashion designer. Her designs specialize in extravagant evening attire with materials that sparkle and bold coloring. Her collection this season did not diverge. The showcase featured evening gowns with gemstone detailing in floral patterning and as well as a shimmering aquamarine bodysuit. Usage of tapering straps and tight angling on fabric linework created a sharpness to each piece that contrasted with the lace and bedazzlement.
Rahiza Alejandra
Rahiza Alejandra is a fashion brand that specializes in feminine attire. Their latest collection was labeled Romance and featured elegant dresses of varying lengths and of soft satin fabrics. The color palette was a combination of gold, champagne and pale yellow. The collection also had romantic lace, ruffle detailing and subtle floral patterning that really exemplified the collection’s name.
Maison de Kallee Jackson
Maison de Kallee Jackson is the brand of Jamaican born and Florida based couture designer Kallee Jackson. Their latest collection for Fall/Winter 2023 was a selection of evening wear dresses. Each of the dresses displayed a mixture of fabrics from satin like to sheer and some had an alluringly metallic sheen and liquid flow. Dresses also featured embroidered elements such as floral and flame imagery. Last to walk the collection was teen model and dancer Harley Vaughn, who also walked with Jackson at the end of the show.

Tamara Nasr is a couture fashion house owned by Lebanese Jordanian designer Tamara Nasr. Bringing in years of studying fashion, business and marketing as well has her experience working for haute-couture designers like Valentino and Georges Chakra, Tamara Nasr has moved her international fashion business to Colorado, USA.
The Tamara Nasr fashion house specializes in evening wear, menswear, dog haute-couture and bridal and offers custom couture and elevated ready to wear with Swarovskis crystals.
Their latest collection was an edgy take on evening wear with sheer gowns, feather sleeves, and menswear using red and black fabrics for a vampiric sensual feeling. An additional statement piece appeared in the form of a backless dress with a silver chain detailing decorating the back.
The showcases of the weekend could not have happened without a huge backing to support it all. From the amazing selection of models from Famous Talent Management, the official makeup artist AMA , the official hair team Rogue House and the official model glam location Sicily Osteria.
