Spring Candle Roundup

If you know me at all, you know how much I love candles. In fact, I always have one burning in my apartment. Sometimes, I even burn three candles at a time. That’s right, I may have an addiction, but as far as addictions go, it’s pretty harmless, and at least it’s one that smells good!

Candle burning is therapeutic for me. It gives me that spa feeling in the comfort of my own home. Plus, candles make incredible gifts! My Spring Candle Roundup covers five candles from three different brands, each one making a perfect gift or addition to your space!

Broken Top Brands

Broken Top Brands originated as a candle brand in 2015 and is all about adding affordability to luxury without sacrificing quality. Their soy candles are aromatic and free from paraben, phthalates, and gluten. I tried both the Lavender Mint Soy Candle and the Sea Salt Surf Soy Candle, and both scents were winners in different ways. I like to keep a candle burning in my bathroom and one in my living area. Since I am partial to lavender, I placed the lavender candle on my coffee table and was in heaven every time I walked into the room, enjoying the notes of lemon, bergamot, and eucalyptus, making for a lavender candle unlike any I have ever smelled. When I entered the bathroom, I was greeted by the sea salt candle’s new but equally yummy smell of jasmine, driftwood, and cream blends.

Candles from Broken Top Brands start at $15, with a 10% on a monthly subscription. Order online HERE.

Outdoor Fellow

Spring Candle Roundup

Outdoor Fellow was founded by Patrick Jones, a self-proclaimed outdoor fellow, as a celebration of candles and the natural world. With reusable candle jars and 5% of every candle sale donated to conservation projects, it’s clear that sustainability is a top value for Outdoor Fellow. I selected the Cedarwood + Lavender candle to try, and was very pleased with my choice! Inspired by a botanical garden, this scent contains notes of lemon and eucalyptus, along with lavender and peony blossom, patchouli, and cedarwood. I especially appreciated how easily the scent of this candle filled my space upon burning.

The Suit & Tie is a beautiful intermingling of aromas, including bamboo, orange blossoms, pomegranate, geranium, pomelo, and pink pepper.
