Minerals Hotel, part of the Crystal Springs Resort, is a short drive from New York City. Dip into a hot tub and relax under the resort’s massive aquarium. The Minerals Pool Complex included an indoor and outdoor heated pool, so you can swim like a Swede when it snows.

The sprawling Fitness Room is an enormous complex with almost every conceivable machine to satisfy gym enthusiasts, and it also has a running track, personal training on offer, and a cardio center. You can head to the Rock Climbing Room to challenge yourself, or hike a variety of Appalachian trails nearby. Love yoga? Enjoy it with goats! And golfers know they will find world-class courses here. The nearby sister resort, Crystal Springs, has an ice skating rink, too.
For the Families
There’s no dearth of things for children to do. The Game Room offers a wide variety for kids of all ages to play, including PlayStation 5 and the XBox Series – and for adults, there’s Oculus VR/virtual reality and pool tables. Open from 10am-10pm, the Game Room is a veritable fun zone of activities that everyone in the family can enjoy. The hotel also offers archery, pickleball, and axe-throwing for the brawny and muscled. Legends Riding Stable is located very close to the resort, so horseback riding is a family outing option.
A Stuffed Animal Workshop is a memorable way for kids to make their own souvenirs, and 21+ Wine Tasting is a great way for adults to remember Minerals as well.
Activities for All
Convivial variety shows take place in the Ballroom, encompassing comedians, magicians, singers, dancers, and other entertainers. A dinner and a show will often include a buffet (which kids love), an open bar, and an elegant Ballroom setting. Other activities include curling, laser clay shooting, marshmallow roasting, family bingo, Festive Mixology, Metal Stamping Workshop, and more. Activities cost extra per person, and require advance reservations.
Gourmet Foodies
So many delicious food options abound at the Minerals Hotel that you’ll be grateful for the fitness center. In addition to solid room service, you’ll find casual dining and American cuisine at Kites Restaurant, seasonal goodies at Frosty’s Cantina, and at the Zinc Cafe, pastries, coffee, protein shakes, souvenirs, and grab-and-go sandwiches.
