Neutralyze: The Nitric Oxide Solution to Acne

Acne is a common skin condition that can irritate not only our skin but also our self-esteem. It can take days, weeks, months, or even years to see satisfying results! In the world of skincare, there are several ingredients to look for that can help acne-prone skin. Let’s meet Neutralyze, a cruelty-free, fragrance-free, and most importantly – acne-conquering brand, striving to clear your skin once and for all.

Born in 2015, Neutralyze was founded by a family of entrepreneurs who struggled with acne for years. During their research, they discovered a game-changing fact that would lead them in a fascinating direction. Their scientists determined that acne is not solely related to bacteria – it’s also caused by inflammation. This led the Neutralyze team to harness the power of nitric oxide, a molecule that naturally occurs in the body. Clinically proven to improve moderate to severe acne not only safely, but quickly, nitric oxide was Neutralyze’s key ingredient to build their skincare line around.

According to Neutralyze’s official website, their products have a 95% success rate.

“In a recent clinical study overseen by triple board-certified plastic surgeon Gregory W. Chernoff, M.D. F.R.C.S., Neutralyze was found to have a 95% effectiveness rate. A majority of participants suffering from moderate to severe acne reported a noticeable improvement in their overall acne condition in as little as 24 hours,” the website says.

As someone who often experiences oily skin and stubborn skin texture, I was thrilled when Neutralyze sent me their product line to try. Here are my personal stand outs of the bunch:

Neutralyze Acne Face Wash

I discovered Neutralyze’s Acne Face Wash on Flip, an app designed to reward users with coupons by referring others. Needing a new exfoliating cleanser, I bought it and decided to give it a try. Formulated with 2% Salicylic Acid and 1% Mandelic Acid, this product is meant to eliminate acne-causing bacteria and provide gentle exfoliation. This quickly became one of my new favorites, especially before shaving as it prevents and relieves razor burn. Its creamy and jelly-like consistency lathers well, and has yet to cause any irritation on my very sensitive skin. Currently on sale for $15 USD for 5 fluid ounces, you can watch my review of the cleanser on Flip here.

Neutralyze Renewal Complex

Another favorite Neutralyze product is their Renewal Complex moisturizer, meant to consistently exfoliate, hydrate, and even out skin tone. It’s recommended for those with cystic acne, pimples, blemishes, whiteheads, blackheads, acne scars and post acne marks – suited for all skin tones! A creamy and rich texture, this cream works great as a day or night moisturizer. I use it on makeup days as it controls oil production and keeps my face hydrated – currently on sale for $20 USD for 3.21 fluid ounces. This product can be your one-stop-product for acne, as it also helps relieve other skin conditions such as rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and keratosis pilaris! I also love the packaging with a pump, as it helps keep the cream fresh and uncontaminated.

Neutralyze Acne Clearing Serum

For those with more sensitive skin, consider the Acne Clearing Serum, designed to correct dark spots, excess greasiness, and blotchiness. Infused with Mandelic Acid, it also provides relief for redness and reduces the appearance of pores over time. For 1.52 fluid ounces, you can try this product on sale for $18 USD from their official website.

Although these three products were my favorites, I genuinely enjoyed every product from the line. According to your needs, you can try their toner pads for on-the-go exfoliation or the newly released Brightening Dark Spot Corrector with vitamin C and niacinamide. You can also take advantage of the Neutralyze Moderate To Severe Acne Treatment Kit 2.0, which includes the cleanser, skin repairing gel, and moisturizer, for $40 USD – the best value for multiple products.

Although Neutralyze has truly effective products, I urge you to listen to your skin to prevent over-exfoliation. When using products with active ingredients, slowly incorporate them into your routine to prevent irritation and maximize results. Shop all of the Neutralyze products here.
