Your to-do list just got a lot easier to complete. Here is a roundup of noteworthy products to help you tackle routine household tasks with ease.
Crushing It in the Kitchen
I started using a garlic press after viewing Vincenzo’s Plate, an Italian cuisine cooking channel on YouTube. When he is preparing Italian cuisine, Vincenzo doesn’t play. During one of his reaction videos, Vincenzo couldn’t comprehend why another YouTube chef used garlic powder in her recipe. He wondered, “Why not use fresh garlic?”
Vincenzo is convincing. So, I got my hands on Full Circle’s Crushed It garlic press and started crushing fresh garlic directly into my frying pan and saucepan.
Crushed It’s handsome brown handle, which immediately caught my eye, is made from dishwasher-safe bonded kraft paper with antibacterial qualities. When I’m done pressing garlic, I use the handle to clean the stainless-steel presser. Thank you, Crushed It, for making crushing garlic and cleaning-up so very easy-peasy.
Less Equals More Cleaning Power
Unfortunately, there are many laundry detergents that annoy and irritate my sensitive skin. That’s why I was happy to stumble upon AEMBR, a five-ingredient laundry detergent that doesn’t use SLS, SLES, gluten, phthalates, parabens, phosphates chorine, optical brighteners, or solid synthetics.
AEMBR laundry powder is highly concentrated so a little goes a long way. I usually use one scoop per wash and never use a dryer sheet. AEMBR’s formula didn’t irritate my skin and it is easy on fabric, leaving my laundry soft to the touch.
I like the scent of AEMBR’s Heritage laundry powder but it could be a dealbreaker for others. The scent is so strong that you simply can’t ignore it. Two other fragrances (Aristocrat and Between the Sheets) are also available. Unfortunately, if you prefer unscented detergents, you are out of luck because AEMBR does not offer an unscented option at this time.
Mess-free Repotting and Propagation
Repotting plants when they’ve outgrown their pots is a necessity but it can get messy. LIVLIG’s Planting Mat provides a firm, non-slip surface for repotting and propagation and I’m here for it. When I’m finished potting my plants, I dump the excess dirt that has spilled onto the mat and wipe its water-repellent faux leather surface clean. Then I roll it up, secure it using its metal snaps, and store it away until I need it again.
